How do I install this external floppy drive?

 

The DX-EF101 requires a PC or MAC with USB interface Windows ME / 2000 / XP or MAC OS 8.6 or higher.

Plug the USB cable to your computer when the computer is off, ensure all the cables are securely plugged in and power on the computer.

 

Do I need to install drivers for this DX-EF101?

 

Most operating systems recognize external units as USB Mass Storage devices or just as regular floppy drives and do not require additional drivers.

If your operating system does require a driver to recognize this unit, it will prompt you to install one. In any other case, it will not be necessary.

 

I’m having problems opening my documents with my external floppy drive.

 

Ensure the floppy drive securely connected to the USB port on your computer. Try shutting your computer completely off and restart it.

Verify your computer has the program with which the document was originally created.
